• Why don't you sell SUL3 soap anymore?

SUL3 is a brand that was owned by Braunfels Labs who ceased operations without warning in the summer of 2020. This website is now owned by DermaHarmony, a longtime competitor to SAL3. We make a poplular 10% Sulfur with 3% Salicylic Acid soap in addition to a lower strength OTC drug 5%/2%. We also make Sulfur only bars, Salicylic Acid soaps and liquid soaps.

  • What is your return policy?

Our return period is 30 days from the purchase date. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it (e.g. unopened and/or unused). If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, we cannot refund or exchange.

  • Are your products made in America?

100% of our products are made in the USA. Many of our products are registered OTC drugs. Our national drug code company number is 71819. OTC drugs comply with the same quality standards and regulatory requirements as those for prescription products. Our production facility is FDA inspected.

  • My Tracking Numbers states my package was delivered but it isn't here.

If you've received confirmation your package has been delivered but it's nowhere in sight, it's highly likely that it will show up within 48 hours. Sometimes the drivers will mark packages delivered when they are in the area. Give it a day and it should arrive. If it hasn't shown up within 48 hours, send us an email and we'll help.

  • Why does the packaging on the 10% Sulfur & 3% Salicylic Acid soap not list the percentages?

This bar is not an OTC Drug and as such percentages are not printed on the packaging. Instead, ingredients are listed in order from highest quantity to lowest. Rest assured, the correct portions of sulfur and salicylic acid are in this bar soap.

  • Does your sulfur soap smell bad?

That really depends on you. And we're not kidding. A few years ago, chemists discovered that the nose is sometimes hypersensitive to sulfur odors. The culprit, as it turns out, is a metallic binding partner that amplifies the signal of smelly thiol molecules. Everyone smells differently.

  • Why does my bar have a dark rust colored spot?

Spotting in our sulfur soaps is caused by a flake of sulfur that creates a spot inside of the bar as the brown/yellow color dissipates into surrounding soap. It’s just sulfur and nothing else. We try to remove spotted bars from the production line as bars are inspected because customers worry unnecessarily about spotting. There's nothing wrong with using a spotted bars.

  • How do you control the sulfur smell in DermaHarmony bars?

We add a wee bit of Soyethyl Morpholinium Ethosulfate to our bars. This is a soy-derived natural odor control. It greatly reduces the smell of sulfur.

  • Do you test on animals?

No. We favor ingredients derived from nature. We don’t use artificial fragrances or colors. And we don’t test on animals. We test our products on humans that are members of our testing group.

  • Where is SulfurSoap.com located?
